Missing star figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a comfortable win that virtually secures them a spot in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another victory in their upcoming match against Finland's KuPS should be enough to secure direct passage to the knockout stages, particularly after a prior setback against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Moment
This match offered a platform for some of Palace's fringe talent to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second start since arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a second, finding the net for the second consecutive match.

After the break, coach Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse almost scoring his first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche then missed a glaring chance, showing there is still scope for improvement in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise positive night for the visiting side.
